ABOUT US

“Simple, fresh ingredients” add up to “creative”, “flavorful” dishes at Alexander Yoon’s “tiny” BYO seafood “gem” in Bella Vista, where the “memorable”, ever-changing seasonal offerings are ordered from the chalkboard and dished up in “pleasurable”, seriously “cozy” digs (just 22 seats); insiders say the $38 Sunday tasting menu is a “terrific” deal.

REVIEWS

  • “Absolutely, hands down, best BYOB in the city. The perfect date spot for someone special, you’ll be making out by dessert.”

    - Emily L. via Yelp
  • “One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Philly. Everything tasted so fresh and each bite I took was mind blowing!! OMG can’t wait to go back again!”

    - Khusbu P. via Yelp
  • “This is hands down one of the better (if not the best!) fish centric restaurants in Philadelphia. Additionally, it is a BYOB and that makes it an even more compelling choice to dine here.”

    - Bob Z. via Yelp
  • “All I can say is WOW! No frills, small…yet the service was flawless. The best fish I have ever tasted and I have over a half century of eating experience…and I really like to eat!”

    - Nick S. via Yelp
  • “I absolutely like this cozy little street corner, Bella Vista, superb fish specialist, BYOB. Places like this need a separate category.  This wonderful find is in the order of Pumpkin and Matyson, two other wonderful BYOB’s which make regular restaurant goers want to be and strive to be ‘foodies’.”

    - Brian H. via Yelp
  • “Super fresh seafood, creative mix of ingredients, make this a “must” on everyone’s list. Sunday prix fixe is the most interesting. The “second in command” experiments so there are always fabulous surprises. A neighborhood jewel. BYOB is also a big plus.”

    - Maryann B.
